Whitings Pond

Anybody on here ever fish Whitings Pond in N. Attleboro? I live right down the street and have heard tales of monster trout in there from Scott at the Bear's Den, but I've never really tried for them.

Never heard of it, but it is always fun to try new water.

It's stocked twice a year by MA F&W and gets a decent amount of fishing pressure, but all from shore. It's a pretty small pond. Personally, I'm not a big pond fisherman for trout, if I'm fishing a pond/lake I'm going after largemouth.

Scott,

It's a bit early in the season for Bass. I think you should go give it a shot. Who knows, it could be a blast. I do some pond fishing early season in Western New York and it can be a lot of fun.
