Thompson River Guides?

Hi,

In searching for some infromation on the Thompson River in BC, I found a thread indicating that it was illegal for guides to operate on the Thompson. Is this true, or are there only a certain number of officially licensed guides for the river?

Assuming guides are operating on the river, can anyone recommend one?

Thank you.

Grouse

There are no guides on the Thompson.

If you go there, you'll see where the people fish.

You might consider the Skeena system for guided angling opportunities.

GrouseMeister! Good to see you here. One person you DO want to get in contact with is Bob Pauli as he spends A LOT of time up in the area where your looking for info. (As do several others ... obviously.)

Send me a e mail so I can confirm I've got your correct address and I'll "introduce" the two of you properly. You'll also find him posting frequently on the spey pages.
