Angie & WSC!

WOW, Angie really gave it to the Wild Steelhead Coalition in her last rant. Do you boys know you are all the ugliest doods on the face of the earth who only dream of doing steelhead late at night.

What is the rumor that she got busted for guiding without a license? Ya got to love her don't ya.

mmmmmmm, she is creative for a lack of any better way to explain it. I wonder how long it takes Angie to think up this stuff? It is entertaining. Most crap on the internet couldn't hold my attention but I was able to read through most of her crap.

To what particular rant are you referring? If links aren't permitted, could you point the direction in another way?

Cheers,

Eric

I've never seen or heard of her before. I have to say, I wouldn't kick her out of bed for spilling a little borax

Oh yeah, in my experience, when two self described "hot" or "cool" women sit around having conversations about why they can't find guys, the reason is usually apparent to everyone but them... OH SNAP!

Well I'll be go to hey she still has an ax to grind, at some point you think the blade would go away from all that grinding.
On the subject of illegal guiding I think there alot more serious charecters out there to get your angst up, and with out of state plates they are easier to notice.

Is she for real or is she a parody of some sort? Has anyone met her or fished with her?

She's going to need Maalox piped into her home if she keeps going at her current ranting rate.

Eric

I did that and the library computer I use blocked it for sex content. Not sure if I am interested if there is no fishing content there!

Type in "angela sorenson" that should get you there.

No sexual content. Her sites are fishing sites.

She's a weird cat, no doubt about it. She posits a natural resource/conservation ethos straight out of the 19th century. Really amazing.

Cheers,

Eric

Doesn't surprise me. Although I doubt she has porn (other then the fish type) on her site she does use a fair amount of foul language.

Question

Is she for real?

Well, yes...to a certain extent.

I've seen her on the river, and she can indeed fish...how well she can, well, I can only go by the anecdotal evidence of a few of her fishing partners, and that evidence points to the conclusion that she can fish approximately 10% as well as she claims...I do know, from a few sources, that those Hoh River nates she is gleefully holding up in the air were purchased from the Hoh tribal fishers just downriver from there...not exactly a shining example of fishing or veracity.

The most accurate part of her website is where she says that everything there is just her opinion, and is not necessarily grounded in fact and/or logic...that is a statement you can hang your hat on.

As for the rest...who knows?

She certainly adds a bit of color to a sometimes rather dreary sport...but it might not be the color you are looking for!

Fish on...

Todd

Eric,

I drank with her one night. NO NO that just don't sound right, not fair to Angie. Invited her to a WSC meeting she came with her husband. They were very nice, polite, good drinkers and friendly to all. There were a few wide open eyes to say the least. Angie is a show woman what can ya say. I'm not going to say one way or another if I think she really believes in what she says. She's OK I think.

Notice once again that Angie gets way more responses than Ryan.
