1926 Hardy Palakona "Gold Medal" 13'9"' for sale

1926 Hardy Palakona "Gold Medal".
MADE 80 YEARS AGO this fine Hardy three piece split cane salmon rod with spare top has survived well and in virtually original condition. Obviously well loved it is still as straight as a die and undamaged. Whipped in maroon which still contrasts with the dark honey brown of the rod. Copper wire whipping on joints and both wooden ferule stoppers in place. Labelled Hardy Palakona Gold Medal on lower section this was a fine and very expensive rod in its day. It consists of three sections plus spare upper section none of which have been shortened or damaged. Standoff rings throughout with agate rings on butt section. Cork handle generally good but some wear. Numbered E2155 dating it to 1926 and in original canvas bag.

Thank you,
Emilio
