John....March will be good. Sad to say we are going the end of Jan. to Sanibel (1 hr north). re fish.......it will be mainly seatrout and ladyfish....but if the water warms up..redfish and snook will be available :-) I use my 9 wt but a 7 or 8 would be perfectly fine. Chartreaous over white clousers, crab patterns and white gurlers and tan shrtimp should be all that you need. If cold, fish the potholes in the weedbeds or any deeper water (4-6 ft)......flats on high tide on a sunny day in the afternoon. Just north of you is san Carlos Pass/Lover's key......the point of the inlet is good at the right tides. Besy of luck.
Ron

Juro- either that was a comment on the previous post, or you're trying to draw Fred's attention....my guess is the former....

I think he's recommending his favorite bait when he pulls out his trusty Zebco for the Florida bonefish...

Tigertail Beach on Marco Island

Drive south to Marco Island and walk Tigertail Beach ...

If anything is around it will probably be there and you will have great access walking that beach
