Flies & Casting

I have been looking at larger fly/ baitfish patterns and am very interested in the Featherbrain style.

Has anyone thrown this with any regularity this season past?

If so, what were your results? Did you modify the fly at all?

Thanks & Merry Christmas,

Roop

When John first came up with them, I tied up a bunch. Very pretty but take a long time to tie. The fish loved them.

Jeff, Just saw your PM... and responded... looking forward to seeing you this winter at the shows and most of all at the spring breakout....you know you always have a place to stay at CAC...John....PS.. The FB's take some time..BUT you don't need a full box of them...I got good reports from some Tuna guys and they are easy to cast.... they shed water especially with the Martinek flashy stuff inner body. ... Tie two or three and thats it....
