Hardy Perfect for Spey

Willie, Andre, Sinktip et. al. -

I am hoping santa combined with birthday (and hopefully not a second mortgage) can bring me a Hardy salmon reel that would suit my greaselining fancies with summer weight spey lines.

I suspect I am talking about 4" and up? Will I need tie wraps to fit the reel on the reel seat?

I'll take any advice you can give me on how to get started with my new found classic Hardy lust.

Juro,
Depends of course on the rod? American rods and Japanese rods tend to have skimpy little reel seats, I always complain about them.( Who in their right mind puts an up locking reel seat on a double handed rod? just think about it for 30 secs or put up 6 rods for the guests on a monday morning)

I assume you have the pocky little black real seat you need a "modern perfect" 60s model.
