York River Pick

If you had the #2 pick for the York River in 2006, what dates and zones whould you choose? Keep in mind you can only pick one 2 rod zone for your 2 days of fishing. Another part of the dilemma is you also have some low draw numbers on the St.-Jean. Please help!

Hey Earle,

I would probably get Zone 8 in July. It should be loaded with fish by that time. July would probably be a good time to use those picks on the St John also.

Charlie.

#1 choice would definately be Sector 3 .Get a date JUST before C & R finishes You're in NB ? I'd then go back to the same #3 later in July combining with the John draws
Cheers

THAT OLD MAN RIVER

Earle,

M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I. Zone 3

Any Day, Any Time, Any Year

I agree with Salar-1 and would take the days after the full moon in June before the kill season starts. Perfect.

Good Luck,

C.R.O.

Thanks for the suggestions for the first day of fishing. Now how about the second day---Zone 4, Zone 6 or Zone 9?

Bonsoir,
Mr Fletcher...if there are any State lotteries in your area.....I'll buy a ticket with you!!

Your St-Jean draws will blend in very well, whether you fish June or July..

Will be nice to see you back on the Gaspé rivers!

"riffling those flies!!"

Regards,

Ann

Our Gaspe River Picks

I do appreciate your advice for our # 2 pick on the York. We also consulted with the Gaspe Salmon Wizard who's initals are A.S. We had the #'s 2 and 98 pick on the York plus # 9 and # 38 choice on the St.-Jean. We also had # 80 on the Dartmouth, but that one didn't fit in. This is what we ended up with: June 19 - zone 4 York, June 20 - zone 6 York, June 21 - zone 8 York, June 22 - zone 9 York, June 23, 24 & 25 - zone 1 St.-Jean.
