Wire Soft Hackle

I was sitting in my hotel room looking at Fly Tier Magazine and decide to tie one of theese.
The picture came out really well so I thought I'd share.

I believe the corret term for that material is "filoplume".

Nice fly. I love the wired look.

Thin down the body a bit and using nymph hooks..... great for getting the standard wet flies down deep during high water orfast water flows! Waspi's wires give you several sizes in some great colors for endless combinations! We used them a few years for tail waters in the Midwest!
