Napatree Point

Friday and Saturday morning things happened early and then peetered out around 8am. Lots of birds and the best fishing was ALL the way out at the tip. Not many caught though. 26 inchers mostly. Metal was doing really well further out. Nothing between there and the getty for bird activity.

Got home to my house. Bass all over the cove. Caught ten in an hour and went back to bed. I'm going to stick around my place from now on!

Phil

Thanks for the update Phil. I am heading down to the coast tomorrow morning and was trying to decide whether to start in RI or CT. I think you've helped resolve that issue!

Try Bluff Point for starters on the inside. Ocean Beach Park is having a Halloween party so you'll have to find alternate parking unless you are a 'fisherman in waders' for a costume! LOL!!! $10 to park.

Tried several spots from shore, nada. Saw the peanuts. It was a cold day for sure. Fish were out of flyrod ragnge. Tried a go to spot but was a little too late. Well that Fat Lady has sung for me. Phil , you perdicted the outcome about the fish being near your house. FishHawk.
