rod and reel stolen, a blessing

My old SA rod and reel were stolen today, I have been heavily contemplating a new set up , but now I am faced with making a decision sooner than expected. My question is on brands I think that I have the rest of it worked out, and have test casted several brands, but cannot decide ( they all feel great) so I thought I would get some feedback on brand opinions. My rod budget is 300. Screw the guy who stole it, he stole my radio and you know he took th rod because it was there, not because he wanted it. Thanks

I`m a big fan of Temple Forks for the money they can`t be beat, and a lifetime warrentee and you would still have enough left for a quality line to go on the new rod!

In your price range, I like the Powell TiMax. If you can wait until the show season, you can get super deals on the Powell rods.
