Lone Limey

Has anyone seen the 'Lone Limey' around yet. If so how's he doing?

Rumours

I have heard tell of a strange man with an odd bit of fuzz on his chin, seen wandering down South Beach with a thousand yard stare and the scent of a man who has not slept, washed or eaten since he landed Monday, muttering to himself... "I'll follow him around the Horn, and around the Norway maelstrom, and around perdition's flames before I give him up"

There he blows!

Jamie- nice Melville reference in your last post- very appropriate for these parts, given the man was a "local". If you get a chance, read the book on the true life sinking of the whaler Essex by an enraged sperm whale- this was the story that inspired Melville to pen Moby Dick .

There she blows

Hey Flydoc, Melville is like family history in my house; my wifes family originate from Nantucket and were whalers. We always wondered about the reference in the book to a crew member named Starbuck, as her ancestors are the Starbucks and Gardners of Nantucket.

Fiction feeding off factual references.

Silas, the Englishman...

was spotted a couple of days ago on Morris Island at the end of a rip banging some bass. He looked a bit weary, suffering jet lag.

Yesterday, refreshed, I think he had a memorable day, about 18 hookups on S. Beach.

He's a fine fiisherman.

Have a safe flight. Give me a call Sat PM before you book the bus... if I am delayed coming down I will give you a lift in my truck.

How many riders?
