River Run Angler's Spey Fair

When: October 21,22 & 23
Where: Carnation WA, Snoqualmie River

See sponsor site River Run Angler for details, or just call speybum (Aaron Reimer) directly at the shop.

If fares stay this low, I will be flying out there myself for some great Spey fun before old man winter comes to town.

(not to mention the rivers should be fishin' real fine then)

I'd love to go, but with gas prices the way they are... That would be like 24 minutes of round trip driving each day... Maybe I can find someone to car pool

I think this will be an outstanding event. I would love to attend.
How you get the line out and fishing is personal preference so as long as it works and is easy no one should care but the caster. MSB

Speyfair 2005 October 21-23 2005

River Run Anglers is proud to announce Speyfair 2005 (formerly known as Speyclave) will be held on October 21-23, 2005, in Carnation, Washington. I have booked space for this year's Speyfair at the Tolt-MacDonald Park, less than a mile from the shop. In addition to the casting demonstrations we will be conducting distance casting games. Please see the rules below.

At this time in October, the river should hold the peak of the summer
steelhead run. There should also be many King, Coho, and pink salmon
present. I have reserved a large barn on the park grounds, which will
provide shelter for vendor booths, fly tying and line splicing
demonstrations, and informal attendee discussion.~ A non-profit organization
will offer food items at the Speyfair site on a donation basis. Please plan to join us this year.
