Each year we enjoy one of the least touched flats and inlets on the east coast with a select group of 15 anglers from the Forum - the north tip of South Monomoy.
What's been the surprising bonus is the population of flats hunting cows that just won't give up on their shallow water sorties even into September. I landed two keepers in the first three shots one year, and FredA landed a fat fall cow that lingers in my memory still.
It's also the famous "southway" from the virgin side - who knows what it will be like since this is the first year.

Special thanks to the National Wildlife Refuge staff and Rip Ryder who make this possible.
Whats the count now? Stevo... you will be REQUIRED to be at CAC Saturday nigh.... maybe we can have a cook out at CAC...I will get the stuff we need...
The CAC event sounds an excellent idea... We might be late though as our flight doesn't get in till 20.15 on the Saturday night. We then have to clear customs (never easy ) and get the bus down to Hyannis, where Basses will be collecting us... Phew!
I'm in for either day, or both, depending on demand for Saturday. I was a wee bit close to that area today, and slammed them, but no keepers, biggest about 26.. Lots of bait.
