Oregon Cutties

Went to the Coast this weekend for some R+R. Left early this AM and found my way along the Nehalem. The cool cloudy weather must have been the triger, cause they were hammerin!
Hope your weekend was on!

Man, so dear to my heart.

I live on Alsea Bay, long recognized as a hotspot for sea-run cutthroat (or "blue backs" as they seem to be locally called). Probably because of lack of bait in the Bay, the fish have been very spotty, although good runs are reported in smaller creek systems nearby.

They are wonderful fish.

Glad you had a productive session with the little buggers,

Cheers,

Eric
