Airflo's Poly tips

I am a bit confused about the poly tips that Airflo offers. Are they replacements for the traditional 9' leaders that we use or something else? Do you add tippet tot he end of the tips as you would a regular leader? Or do you attach the leader to the end of the poly tip?

Lastly, what are the benefits of using these?

Andre

Hi Andre -

They are a compromise between the sinktip and the mono leader, a sinking leader in effect. For those days when a little depth helps they are the ticket. You add tippet to the end.

They can't replace either but are a nice 'tweener.

Thanks for the explanation Juro. May have to try them out. BTW, how far out are you one the revised notes?
