Love hunting and fishing. 50% of the enjoyment for me is being out by myself away from it all.

flytyer is simply one of the things I've been since age 9, some 43 years ago. And because I've been a professional tyer for over 20 years, it was a natural.

one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish

My brain processes all language in anapestic tetrameter and occasionally in trochaic tetrameter, Theodor Geisel's preferred metric(s).

Rare disease. No known cure.

Kind of too simple. I am a lake bum who goes to New Zealand once or twice a year.

Hello,
Macrostigma ..................... what means this term ???????
Salmo trutta macrostigma is an endemic specie of salmo trutta in corsica, the country where I live in .......
As you can see, my english lessons are far away ;-)
I live in Ajaccio in corsica (little Island near the coasts of France) since 5 years.
I'm 29 years old, father of a little "Clarisse" .........
There is no salmons here, only wild trouts that provide great flyfishing moments ....
If you are interested in this little part of our world, you can email me .....
And I'll respond them as welle as I can, with my old institutionnal english ;-)

Eat sleep and breath Atlantic Salmon and spend all my time chasing them around the Maritime provinces,,, so Salmon Chaser was a no-brainer to me.

Short form for Frenchman's Creek, partly because i'm of french canadian background, partly because i grew up fishing creeks, mostly because it is the name of my consulting company.

Had the good fortune to be born the best place on earth; Acklins.

Moved away at birth. Spent some summers, knew little to nothing of the Island. Got reconnected five years ago, built a cottage two years past.

The rest is history!

I now walk bare-feet on the street of Delectable Bay looking for adventure, hence the name 'Acklinsboy.'

If God did not take vacations, why did He made these island?

Used to have a VERY beat up 1962' 17' runabout that was gutted, modified and generally kludged up. . It was aptly named the Ugly Hooker. When I sold it to get into something new , sweet but smaller( for estuary fishing,) I named the new 14 skiff the Wee Hooker.

American Shad, you just have to love any fish that fights that hard 125 miles inland after a month or more of not eating.

Fishhead.......

1-as in cheeseHead, pothead (no drugs here), shovelhead, knucklehead, ironhead, panhead, bonehead, fathead, blockhead, fishhead!
B-The english translantion for my eBay handle -Kalapaa- Finnish for fishhead without the little dots over the last two a's-pronounce the first two a's as in Father and the last two as in cat. Finland is a beautiful country with a beautiful language. And some nice fish though I only got to try it once on ice!
3-It fits
