Planning

Having sorted out the air tickets, house, car, duty free and fishing we need to think about the other necessity of our trip. Food.

Someone mentioned a place called Deanno's which is absolute must for breakfast. I have searched the world word interweb and cannot find any information about this place. Does anyone know where it is?

Don't know Deanno's but a lot of folks gather at Larry's PX which is on the corner of Main St. (Rt 28) and Barn Hill Rd.

It's situated in a small precinct and there is a huge circular sign on a tall pole saying "SHOP AHOY".

Larry's is usually open by 05:00 a.m.

I think it is Dino's which is a very small breakfast place in the center or Chatham just past the Rotary on the right. Larry's PX is the place, parking easier and the place is bigger...short waiting time, and I don't think Dino's opens as early at Larry's which is usually open at 4 or 5 am.

I think Larry's it is

That sounds about right. The guys (now fishing in Weipa catching monsters) who recommended Dino's are two wastrels who probably do not get out of bed until noon. Every time I have been out with them they were a little ethereal to say the least.
