Fresh water washdown!

My boat is clean enough as it is for not having used it in over a week. All this rain and cold, day after day!

Has anyone actually gone fishing this week and have something to report?

Monday. South Beach... two hours into the outgoing tide on the ocean side in HUGE surf. Hookups on almost every cast with 20 knot breeze at my back out of the north. Had to catch the boat back at 4pm. I was tempted to walk back and screw the boat ride but some very dark clouds were forming to the north. Would'nt you know. Back to the car and down came the rain! The old adage of don't fish a north wind, didn't hold water Monday. The migration does not care!
Big boys should be here this week.

Phil

Hey Phil

Any sign of those "shad-chomping" cows in your neck of the woods yet?

Guys good weather is headed your way I think! Seattle yesterday was a record at 88 degrees and today it will be in the 90's. I hope that the jet stream takes this huge high in your dirrection. New Englanders deserve a break!
