Big Brother Day

Discussions for this year's day for the kids are underway. Ideally for me it will be on Father's Day weekend, either Sat or Sun.

I will keep you posted - PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING 1/2 DAY to this most important of Forum events.

I'm in for Father's Day. Let me know what I can do. I was thinking we should start a fly gathering initiative to fill some boxes this year. Nothing huge. Maybe 2 per little. Can we still get boxes from Nick?

If I can be on the Cape that week-end I'll definitely be there.

I have a potential business trip in June that would require a Sunday departure - I will try to steer it away from BBD!

I'm in. Rain or shine for this one. Will we have more fishing time this year? We haven't had much actual fishing time in previous years though that may be all the boys are up for.

Date is set for Sat June 18th, 20 pairs max (big+little=pair) so keep the volunteers coming! Off to a good start - 5, but we need more.

Sandwiches from Chatham Village Cafe', Rip Ryder rides, Monomoy Wildlife Refuge tour for the kids, and of course we will have our team-building session for the rest of the day out there. Fate usually smiles on us for giving a little time to the kids.

We have several spin outfits to complement the fly rods. We have a high tide mid-day so should not have to walk very far

Please consider participating. This is how you can give something back if you have enjoyed or benefited from the Forum.

I'll try to make it this year. I'd like to be there for the whole weekend if possible. Hope the weather warms up a little by then! I can bring a spin rod (if it still works ) and some of those sluggo things. I'll also have a few extra flies for the fly boxes.

Looking forward to it!

I'll be there, and plan on one or more of my boys to assist. I can't keep up with their schedules, but they both like to share with kids.

Unfortunately, I'll be away for that weekend. This spring has been nutso. I have changed jobs, but still have contacts back at my last place. I'm pretty sure I could pull together plenty of boxes for this.

I am disappointed that I can't make this as it really is one of those awesome yearly events in life.

Nick -

We'll miss you this year but it's been great having you participate in years past and thanks for seeing about the boxes.

Jim, Q -

AWESOME! See you there.

Saturday 18th means I'm definitely in

I can bring spin gear also - might need a bit of coaching myself though and a few flies for the boxes. I was sorry to miss it last year.
