Regional population shift......

For a number of years the trains have ran up the Skeena Valley infrequently, that is about to change.
The Canadian National, and B.C. goverments have appropriated $98 million to the development of a Large Scale Container Cargo Port facility for Pacific Rim Trade with the Asian region and Eastern Canada and the Lower 48 of the US.
If you thought the explosion of population in the Skeena country was fast paced due to the timber development of the last decades hang on to your hats "you ain't seen nothin yet!'

I have always enjoyed the symphony of the train horns but I fear the growing population associated with a Major Seaport and Rail Head will offset any personal gain from the oppurtunity to hear the trains and wave to the engineers.
