Would you buy this vice

Just wondering what everyone thought of the Lazzeri Aries Vice?
I'm contemplating buying either the one above or the Dyna-King Squire, but the Lazzeri seems to be more functional. Any ideas?

I don't know anything about the Lazzeri Aries vise (est. cost about $220 USD), so I can't comment on its capabilities. I can say, however, that for less than $175 USD, you should be able to to purchase a tried and true vise -- like the Renzetti Traveleri f you want a true rotary vise, or the Squire -- via eBay. For $300 USD you can by a Barrcuda or a Nor-Vise. I would go with the Renzetti or the Dyna-King.

The Dyna King vises have one of the best jaws in the business and all of them are made for a lifetime of hard use. Any Dyna King vise could literally tie millions of flies without a failure of wearing out. The Baracuda is my personal favorite and the vise I have been using for the last 8 years. But the Squire is a fine vise, and you ought to take a look at the Baracuda Treker, which sells for about $225.00. It is one of the greatest values in vises.
