Very nice ideed!

For those having trouble with bronze mallard wings splitting, the photo of this fly clearly shows how the wing is tied in by the lighter (grey) portion of the feather from near the stem.

Oh ya I like those colors. Its got that pale ghosty look of a live shrimp.

What color are the collar and the tail.

Looks good,

One question.,......Did you counter wrap the rib/tinsel through the palmered hackle or did you wrap the same way as the hackle?

I'm going steeli fishing this weekend in the Kalama and it's my first time and I don't know what flys to use can you guys help me?

You should start a thread asking for Kalama recommendations. You'd get way more info that way. Good luck.

No problem, buddy. I started when I was 8, and 20 years and many dollars later, I'm still going strong . Fly fishing is probably the greatest calling a young person could find.

Also, try doing a search on the Kalama. Might find some more hints and info that way. Check out the forum at www.speypages.com as well. Again, good luck and welcome.
