Anyone fish for bonefish in northern Mozambique? I travel to the province of Cabo Delgado and the provincial capital of Pemba often for work. I'm leaving again March 21. This time I'm taking my 8wt and Billy Pate with me. Tourists go after big game fish and locals fish for bones with nets in deeper water, so I haven't had much luck with the local intel. Lots of mangroves though. My usual quary are steelies and cutts in the salt (I live in Seattle), so I'm a complete newby to bonefishing but happy to chuck out a few flies.
