Ill Member Update

FYI...just heard that Garry began to show signs of improvement last night ....MD's and family are beginning to get encouraged, but he is still "not out of the woods". Still in ICU and a long recovery, if he continues present improvement, is expected.
Thank you all for your positive comments, which I've shared with his wife.
He may not make it to the flats of SB for early season and the arrival of the twinkies....so lets try and save a fish or 2 for him when he arrives.
Ron

Its not always about CATCHING the fish on Monomoy. More often than not its the sights and sounds out there that make the trip. Those will be there waiting for him!

Glad to hear he's rounding the bend.

Nick, I couldn't agree with you more! Tis a beautiful environment, fullfilling in and of itself! I'm sure that Garry will be even happy to do our 2 1/2 hr drive to Mecca this year. Having the gift of opportunity again is better than the end results!

Based on what he's been going through, I would think that a few nice fish are virtually guaranteed for him.

FYI...very good news....as of yesterday, Garry was discharged from ICU and is now in a "regular" room. He has a ways to go recovery wise, but should be ready for some flats action sometime in June/July. I plan on visiting him as soon as I get rid of my cold, he doesn't need any more problems. On behalf of Garry and his family, I thank all of you for the well wishes....they worked!
