I signed it:

Roman, you touched so many lives locally, and around the globe. You will always remembered as a gentleman and a scholar. But also as the proginator of some very creative and effective fly patterns that will carry your name for the ages.

My deepest condolencese and respects go out to Elena, and closest family.

He is sorely missed already, may he be enjoying tight lines once again with our other missed friend Gary Lafontaine on far away streams.

His art at tying flies will be greatly missed but not as much as his great personality and willingness to share his knowledge.
