Line Specs

For those of you who keep tabs on line specs, I recently received the following information from Scientific Anglers regarding their the weight in grains of their 6-weight Steelhead Taper.

30' = 160 grains
40' = 217 grains
50' = 259 grains
60' = 288 grains
70' = 313 grains

I think the length of the entire head on that line is 60'.

I thought these data might help some of you who are looking for lines to use with the lighter weight two-handed rods.

Hey Smolt...

If you are interested. I think I have the same info for that line in 7wt and 8wt.

Also for the SA Nymph Taper in the same line weights.
