More Shrimp

I've got these down to four hours apiece. Can't wait until the rivers drop. I may not wait.

BTW, what other colors should I try?

GOOD LORD, man, those things look awesome! But 4 hours to tie? That would have to sting to lose one to the rocks. Still, really incredible to look at. Love the top two especially. Think a black and purple version with red eyes would be deadly...

Shrimp Flies

Really like the look of your Shrimp Flies!

I would like to try tying one ... even if they do take four hours.

Could you please post the recipe and maybe a few steps on how you tie it.

Thanks in advanced,

Again - very nice ties! I would love to ask for one but am afraid of what the exchange would be with that time investment. I thought built wing classics were bad at 1 - 1.5 hours apiece!

If you look under Skykomish Sand Shrimp there is just the vaguest description on how to tie it. I'm going to have to time myself when I tie the next couple shrimpzoids. I'll bet it's a lot less than four hours because first I tie several hooks, then I lead the tail, then tie all the rabbit stingers, then stingers to shanks, etc. I'm a little overwhelmed by all of requests for instructions, but I will be taking photos and posting them as soon as I can. Plus, I'm not really sure how, but I'll figure something out.

update

I've posted tying instructions on another site. I hope this is OK Juro because there were a lot of photos and I know they use a lot of bandwidth and I can post larger files. If not, you can email me if you are interested and I'll send you a link.
