Wink Dream pool

As we can't say anything more about the regulations in Quebec 'till February, lets just have fun and dream a bit.

What is your absolutely most favorite "pool" for our little friend Salmo Salar and why? maybe it's your most productive, a certain memory, just plain fun ...

(just to make those poor souls who don't have salmon in their home waters drool

Here's mine. Alan's Arm (#23) Ste-Marguerite River Saguenay Quebec.

We camp out right next door, there is space, the gallery means there is ALWAYS someone stopping by to say hi, (coffee is ALWAYS fresh in my camp) Nice cool water even in August. I also connected for the very first time in my life (not far from) there.

Edit:
Did I mention the view?

Ideas ???

Talking Nice water !!

Ann,

Love the water in your neck of the woods. Ours is clear, but yellow. Not that postcard quality stuff. Must have something to do the pH of the soils or the Spruce forests.

I was in the Queen Charlotte Islands a while back and the River Tell is absolutely BLACK as english breakfast tea. (because of the Tanic acid in the cedar)

Another of my favorites (but for Sea run brooks)

Isabelle Poisson - August 2004 Pool # 48 Ste-Marguerite River
