Baby Tarpon on Acklins ?

Having had some success in the Caribbean with baby Tarpon on the fly....
mostly from jetties etc.

it would be great to try for them on the flats...

It seems from my searching on the internet that Tarpon are there....

Anyone with any detailed info ?

thanks

Primary haunts are French Wells and inlets around Turtle Sound on Crooked, but I plan to visit CRI one of the days. Again there seems to be limited road access but one never knows how it is wading from the launch. BIG tarpon are there too, and permit. Bluewater is supposed to be insane but requires $ charter.

Other species...

With the amount of mangrove thickets, creeks/channels, me thinks there must be a snook population, but I don't know? If so, they are great tablefare, and a lot of fun, expecially on poppers and sliders.
