Hello all,

This is bluegillbob. I live in eastern NC and pursue LM bass, bluegills, and crappies with the flyrod! I use a 4wt, but I want to pursue the bigger bass with an 8wt.

I hope to learn, as well as pass on my knowledge here. I've been flyrodding the past 4 yrs.

Robert

Welcome aboard!

Eastern NC looks an interesting place to fish. We were at a wedding on the OBX last week end and I wished I'd taken a fly rod. Arlbemarle sound looked very "fishy".

Welcome

Got to fish Eastern NC for LM bass, hickory shad, and stripers a little while back. Stayed on the shores of Lake Mattamuskeet, fished some local ponds, the Scuppernong, and a few other spots. Didn't catch bucket loads (except for shad, lots of them) but we had a good time anyway.

Like Adrian says, very "fishy" looking waters.
