New site for me also

Stumbled on this excellent site when looking for info on Tulchan B on the Spey. Looking forward to having the courage to participate in the various debates. Salmon fly fishing is my life although I have now reached the stage (56) when it is a bonus just to be on the riverbank with running water!!

What would you like to know about Tulchan B?
It has the nicest flowers on the Spey; Alan current gillie is the longest serving gillie on the Spey and a very keen gardener, bit of a character. If you ask about his flowers you will be his friend for life but will never see the river for an hour or two whilst he shows you them all.
I quite like him even with all his idiosyncrasies
My favorite pool is the one below the hut from the other bank when the water is up.

Welcome, hope you enjoy it here. I certainly have so far!
My passion for catching fish is eclipsed only by the fish's passion not to be caught.

Thanks for the welcome, more than enjoyable at moment, especially being our close season.
We start again on 1st Feb however with opening day breakfast, a large dram in the Tyne and bellies to toast the new season followed by some rusty speycasting and a kelt or two, water permitting. It will sure beat work!!
