Question Montauk NY Albie Info

hello all:

i'm trying to plan an Albie trip for next year ('05) and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction as to these items?

- non-resident fishing permits (im Canadian)
- Rod/Reel & Line recommendations
- Flies

i have ordered the book " False Albacore" by Tom Gilmore as a reference guide, but was hoping i might be able to obtain some local information here.

thanks for any help

Tightlines and Screamin Drags!
