Lefty Kreh Special (Saracione made reel)

I have a beautifully made saltwater reel for sale. It was made by Joe Saracione and called a Lefty Kreh Special. It is designed for an 11 or 12 weight line. It has a very low number on it and is in excellent condition with the original case. This is a highly collectable reel by one of the foremost American reel makers. A beautiful must see item. It is RH retrieve.

Please contact me for more information.

Saracione reel

Hi Vinnie,

Do you know what the reel went for on E Bay? I'm not positive what to ask for it but have been told anywhere from 800-1200.

Would love some feedback. Ic an take a photo of it too to post.

Andre,

It is a Monarch M40/D meaning 4" direct drive. It is currently a RH retrieve but can be changed to left if needed. It has been used as I am a true believer in using things and not just staring at them up on the mantle! It has a few very tiny little marks on the rim and other than that, not a mark. I used it in Baja for dorado on an 11 wt rod and it was just right for that. Good for tarpon also.

In terms of price, I am thinking maybe $600 with the case. Shipping and insurance extra.

ladyflyfish,

I believe it was around what you are asking. Sorry I don't remember the exact amount. Good luck selling...
