Thumbs up Go Sox!

6 to a big fat goose egg in the 2nd. I can hardly leave the TV - I just hope they can hold on and break the curse.

BoSox fan in Seattle,

WHO's YOUR PAPI?!?

Greyhound fare to Yankee Stadium to watch the rout... $150
Scalped tickets.... $1500
Watching A-Rod cry like a girl... PRICELESS

Seriously, my respect goes out to all ball players who poured their hearts into the series on both sides. It was some of the best sports viewing ever.

Now on to defeat the NL champs in the series...

How many teams would have rolled over and died when trailing 3 games to none? Especially after that 19-8 shellacking in game 3 at Fenway?

This Sox team has a lot of heart. History has been made.

And now on to game 7 of the St. Louis/ Houston series.

These late games are leaving me tired!

$185 Million well spent

It would have been much less awesome if the BoSox had just swept up the NYY in 4. The extra humiliatiion of having come back from down 0-3 and scoop up 4 unprecedented wins is very satisfying.

Couldn't have been sweeter actually.

Quiet at work

The Yankees fans were very Quiet this morning. And several that I know did not even bother to accept the humiliation they heaped on us by not showing up for work this morning. The biggest fan, however, did show up and "gracefully"
took the ribbing. Give him credit for that.

A-Rod pouting on the bench is priceless, they need to make a t-shirt with that pic on it.

Papi should have thrown him a hankie.

Thumbs up So many great memories to choose from~

Which is better - A-Rod crying 'cause he couldn't trade his way into a World Series or wiping that annoying smirk off Jeter's face??

Ah, well - lucky for use we get to have 'em both!!!

Announcing the lineup of your NY Yankees...

Next year, the lineup announcing will go something like this....
At 1st- Tony Clark
At 2nd- Enrique Wilson
At SS- Derek Jeeter, and
AT THIRD BASE- THE CHEATER!!!!

When they make that T-shirt with the pic of the pouting A-Rod, don't forget to give him his goat horns....

Yes, GO SOX!

Last year at this time I was back home in Weymouth, my mom had just passed away and the red sox/yankie series was a good thing for both my dad and me to take our mind off of what just happened at least for a couple hours each night. But in the end the yanks taking it just put us in a the funk again. The one year anniversery of her passing away was going to be tough on my dad but what happened this week took a lot of the pain away for him. He called me every night from after game 5 till the defeat of the evil empire, his mind on red sox victory. Thank you Red Sox's your still the greatest!

Would also like to remind the Red Sox's Nation that a large part of beating the evil Yanks were the great gifts that the Seattle Mariners virtually gave the sox's. Varitek, Ortiz and Lowe and not re-signing Cabrera last year. Also not re-signing Alex who has found a way to be the curse of every team he will ever play for. Be glad he did not sign with the Nation.

So good, so fine to remember my roots. I do remember 1967 as a teenager. Bob Gibbson destroying the red sox hitters, the national leauge speed game against the american leauge game. The Cardinals will come at the sox this time with both power and speed much like the reds came at the sox in 86. But this time the Bo Sox's are going to find a way to win. Look it just has to happen in my life, in all our lives. Please Pedro, Find away in your heart to go out a Red Sox as a winner and not some bizzare part of the curse!

I am a Cubs fan and can assure you there are no such things as curses.

Unless you want to count the goat and bartman.......

At least the Sox give us forlorn Cub fans something to root for.

Do Not forget the Goat

There is an even more potent curse than the "Bambino", if you are in your rooster and in control of three or more players who have played for the Chi Cubs, you are apperaently more "Cursed" Than the Yankees, you are on equal footing with the Cubs!!!!!!!!!!!!
But then if you have ever invited Tom Pero or Try Combbs to a "Cocktail Party" you will be lucky to catch a Carp in your after life let alone anything you wanted in this life.
So its starting to rain around the Gretaer NW I think I will go S. for the duration as I like warm H2O and easy fishes! However I will be around if needed!!!
