Hookie: Teach them young

Well we got incredible weather tomorrow, optimal tides, and the fall run is in full swing. So I'm taking my son and the tin boat and bouncing around the No. Shore coves tomorrow at dawn. The boy will just have to learn to explain to the teacher why he is coming in at lunch time. Good preperation for life as a fisherman. Last year on this day I had the best fishing day of my life. Great way to remember it.

report to follow.

Lefty,
Great plan! I'm meeting a friend and we'll be doing the evening tour with some yaks on top if we need too!

You're teaching a lesson that will not soon be forgotten!

Nick

The boy has a good dad, and he'll remember this day for life.

Good luck!

Teachers won't believe it

Lefty were you fishing in the vacinity of Lynch Park in Beverly?
It will help if the teacher is a fisherman/woman.
The area was becoming crowded by 11:00 when I decided to hang it up.

Well we had a beautiful day. Many schoolies and a few blues mixed in along the Beverly shore and outer harbor. Ran into Mr Sully out there too in a friends Jones Brothers. The boy landed two 5-7 lbs bluefish which we kept fo rthe grill. We prepared them "A la Boneclave" and wowed some neighbors and friends with a fantastic meal.

Bonus: I got a b-day card from the boy that opened with:

"Dad AKA: Fishing Buddy"

What more could you ask for?

Lefty (grateful dad)
