This is a fly I've been experimenting with, looking a good looking muddler/sculpin pattern that sinks well without lead. I'll have to get out of state t try it or wait for the late fall stockings.
hook- size 4 long shank streamer hook
tag- red yarn
body- gold flat tinsel
rib- round gold tinsel
wing- the underwing is fox squirel tail and peacock crystal flash and the feather winging is two barred giger hackles over 2 white hackes
head- (this is the fun part) coyote guard hairs on the rear of the head and spun coyote under fur, along with a cone head
