A really great gutsy performance by the European team - nice going lads!!

They will play at the K club in Ireland in 2006.

That might be a fun trip to combine a bit of late season trout and salmon fishing

What's the Ryder Cup?... is that a drink that Charles Ryder was drinking in the PBS series "Brideshead Revisited"? My son tried to tell me it's about 10 countries, more or less...against the Us... I told him ,"No Way"... the Brits would not need help to take on the US.... I said it must ONLY be the UK against the US, not an entire Euro continent. he said , "No", they could not form a meaningful team without all those other countires. I still don't believe him. ..PS.. This is about a pub dart contest ..right?

Question The US vs Europe

Yeah, it should be the US against Europe. The US has tremendous depth in the world of golf. I think we need to go a little farther down the money list to field a team with enough spirit and guts to win.

I think of it as being like the Olympics. They live in the US, train in the US and make thier living in the US. And then go and represent some place like Mongolia?

I particularly liked two of the par 4 holes; the 7th and 16th. It could be my imagination, however I am sure I saw some fish rising in the water features

"Ryder's Cup"! Sounds like a Chatham based fishing tournament.
