Grizz, i will start this off by simply saying that to begin, large Juro Deep eels, and big Squid flies... I have also used large Harry Koon's Rat's Arses... which is a clouser with a collar of Rabbit and wings of saddle hackle... However, we are down there in September...so I would not be without large Bunker patterns... or even large lefty's deceivers... I would suspect that the deceivers Should be weighted.I will hope others will add their thinking here... Good and timely topic.

How about bunnies and the like? I've heard the speedsters can haunt that area at that time o' year.

Steve's F's DNA Bait fish is a very good pattern.Very simple to tie. I'll have a few extras for you Grizz. What makes this pattern so great is that it is easy to tie and very effective. FishHawk
