Couple spots open for Sunday's Atlantis Casting Clinic

... at Rod Builder's Workshop (Smitty's) In Kingston MA from 10am through lunch this Sunday (Aug 8th).

RBW is sponsoring this event. There is a $25 organizing fee; coffee and lunch is provided (included).

This clinic provides (1) casting technique and line matching info for existing Atlantis owners and (2) provides a try-before-you-buy opportunity for those who are curious about the two-handed flyrod that has been taming the surf lately.

Pre-registration is necessary, space is limited.

For information or to sign up send me a private message.

Longer Casts and new lines

I'm really glad I made it down to the Casting clinic today, I'll have to thank a no show for their spot. Big thanks to Juro and Smitty for putting this together. I have seen a significant improvement in my casting already, and feel certain I have reached a second level for me. The field doesnt seem so big anymore.

I like that new Orvis 12wt floating head and the Rio running line. Can't wait to test out the new running line we picked up at Smitty's. Nice to meet everyone, hope we do another one soon!

Thanks,
Greg.

Thumbs up

It was great working on the two-hand regimen with you guys yesterday. Good to see guys casting ridiculous distances so quickly.

I'll take a look at the video to see if we can make out some of those booming casts being made at the end of the session.

I would have to say it was a very successful day with much progress made by all!

My point-and-shoot video didn't cut the mustard, can't see the line at all. Time to save up for a good digital video recorder.

I can attest to the fact that some of the distances were unreal. Greg was really bangin 'em out. I learned a lot and really think this is going to help my single handed casting.

Thanks Juro
