If you heard screaming last night...

If you heard screaming last night from the CT coast, there's really no need for alarm. That was just my wife hooking and landing her first ever bunch of saltwater fish.

Schoolies, rat blues, and hickory shad provided the entertainment and drew some very genuine reactions from Anne. And now those fish have yet another angler to fear.

Life is good.

That's great Mark....but now you will not be able to disguise your new reel and rod purchases anymore.... " Honey, New?...No way....I had that rod for years".

Actually, what I should do is get new equipment under the guise of it being for her. Then I can use it too.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

I have often given consideration to that very strategy. Now all I need to do is get Denise out on the water when the fish are hitting. I think Montauk in late October is the best bet.

Sounds like she had a blast!!
Brenda won't fish but would be more than happy to catch some sun on the deck of a boat. I guess that's almost permission to buy one. Won't she be surprised when I bring one home and give her credit for it.
