RIP TRIP- Cancelled

Sorry to say that after speaking with Keith this morning we are looking at small craft warnings and seas 4 to 6 feet... and heavy rain thoughout the day... the wind situation will not change for the 28th as well...so... I will look to dates in August...maybe in the next two weeks so that we might get two August trips...WE ARE CANCELLED!

Although I feel badly for those who would have been able to make it, I am greatly relieved that I will not be missing one of the truly unique things we do because I had to work.

I will however make sure I do not miss August.

Thanks for the early heads up. I too will miss being on the Rip catching fish. Suggestion. Perhaps you could make one of the Aug. trips on Fri. or the weekend .
Much easier to take a Friday off.

Fish Hawk... I will pick a date that is on the weekend or a friday...as you know we always try to pick the best Tide time...BUT for this next trip we will go when we can... the next best tides are late August...But Lets all look at the tides in the next two weeks and try to pick the best one we can...It is just this is the only way we can do this...it's great just being down there...and who know what other conditions need to ne discovered... maybe an incoming around the point has fish all over the place???

John. Thanks for your efforts in putting this together. This will be the third canceled trip I've signed up for but am looking forward to the next opportunity so long as it is not on a Saturday. Thanks again.

Phil

I want to schedule something for next week.... who is in Chatham next week... what about just schedling Next Friday... regardless of tides??? I will do a separate post......... Summer is here
