Who cares about the weather

We still had a good time at Newaygo.

Thanks to Mark, Doug, and all of the rest who worked to make it come off.

Thanks to Andy Murray of Hardy who travelled to the clave to do those presentations and show us those neat Hardy toys, especially the new Sirrus rods and reels. (T&T fans, take note)

Thanks to Bob Meiser who sent all of those nice rods. You caused a lot of rod envy . . . .

Thanks to the Sage rep who sprung for lunch and brought all those Sage toys.

Thanks to the local stores who supported it.

I'd say thanks to Neil for his presentation, but it would go to his head . . .

No thanks to Mr. Weatherman who tried to do us in . . . .

An old Michigan proverb

"If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes".

We went from cool and damp to warm and sunburn on Saturday.

I think you boys got pretty wet on Saturday night. Anyone get into some good fish on the floats?

I had a dandy time. Nice to see you all.

My son asked when we can come back.

Thanks to all who pulled off the event.

Thanks to Andy for the Friday lessons and to Andy and Neil for the Saturday demos. The best tip for me was to sloooow down and bring the bottom hand back to my breast pocket.

Gary

I though that was an old English saying -- no wonder Andy was at home.
