Flyfishing Economics 101

Having spoken to several local fly shops, business has all but died since 9/11/01.

I don't know what to suggest since I'm definitely not in a financial position to be purchasing any new equipment in the immediate future, I just made my final purchase of 2001 - a new reel.

But think about the benefit of having a local fly shop where you can see feel & touch the products and think about losing that resource.

Thanks,

Roop

I will be buying a lot of materials very soon, starting at our sponsor shops first of course. Not going to make anyone rich but I am easily carried away!

Never, never, never marry a woman who uses Quicken to keep the household books. Too many easy and 'pointie' reports can be quickly produced. Yesterdays was the one pointing out I've already dropped over 3 grand this year.

But, as I tell the JoanMeister, it keeps me off the streets, away from strange women, and out of dark bars.
