The WSEC not WSC Club

So we have all heard about the WSC the Wild Steelhead Coalition well I am here to announce the WSEC.

Worst Steelheader Ever Club.

I have proved that I am a charter member over the last two years. One of those things that happen I guess. I can't seem to buy a fish on Fly. I did manage some on cough cough gear this winter. Oh my what has happened to me. :eyecrazy:

Membership if fluid and can change in minute but as of right now I know I am a member. I may be the only member but I doubt it. We all need to have a taste for our favorite spirit. Mine is Yukon Jack and Red Wine. You have to willing to travel distances or go close and still not catch fish. But once you do you have to give up your membership. No fly in your box can ever look right. No tip can will get you to the right depth and you always get beat to the water.

Howzer don't even try to apply I know you are a Steelhead God.

JJ

you cannot stop me from saying what's true, I am THE OTHER charter member of the WSEC and I'm building an impressive o-fer streak to prove it.

Red wine and Yukon Jack? I hope those go in separate glasses, otherwise you are deeper in the WSEC depths than I thought!

I haven't tried YJ and Wine mixed yet but that may be the next step. Yukon during the day and wine at night.

Ok Howzer you can be a charter member but my understanding is that your performance this winter may get you kicked out. Which I guess is a goal we should all strive for.

Can I join. I caught a couple of them when I was over on the dark side but nothing of any importance with a fly. And all my flies look like they should be in a garbage can. Besides I have always want to belong to something. Even if it is a no fish club. And as for ratio's I have been out for about three years now and no winter fish.

And now that I'm trying the Spey thing I'm completly lost.

I WISH THAT ALL OF YOU GUYS WOULD STOP YOUR BRAGGING!:hehe:

And if the truth be known here is that JJ brought 17 fish to hand this year so far on our local rivers and had quick release on 7 others. Not bad.

And for Howzer. Sinktip floated with him earlier this year and Howzer took 3 fish and lost one. He also said that Howzer mentioned 4 other fish he landed on the Sky in late January.

Sparky, well what can one say about him. Humble and truth be known he brings at least one to hand on every trip and he fishes more than any of us.

17 that would require me to take my shoes off to count. Man that is funny. I needed that laugh this morning.

24 fish hooked in a winter oh the laughing can never stop.

I was at a buddies fishing cabin this weekend and he has a sign in the bathroom. "If you listen really hard you can hear the fish laughing at you." That kind of sums it up.

Hey JJ,

You don't have 17 toes do you?

JJ and Howzer catch fish just about every outing. They are known as killing machines by those in the underground of true dirt bag steelheaders. There is no metrosexualism in their river deeds. And I'm glad they keep their river conquests so quiet because it gives the rest of us a hope.
