I went out and bought flashers, divers, hootchies and new 25LB test line so I can fish the Hood Cannal Salmon Derby this week.

Fishing out of my sloop and undersail. Winds and seas will be unpleasant so I have a little advantage even though I have no idea what I'm doing. But I'd love to beat out the local red necks at our marina. If anyone wants to go PM soon I have room for one or two folks.

No, I mean no sir, that is not polar bear fur in the sack. Yes, I know that stuff looks like seal fur but believe me it isn't seal.

Are you planning on having "the coffee girls" crew your boat during this salmon derby? Even if the bite is off it will be a pleasant way to spend the day.
