Kudos to Striblue

I received my latest issue of Fly Tyer yesterday, and lo and behold on page 58 is a nice spread of John's crab apple pattern.

Nice job buddy!

Thanks Mark..Dave Fix sent me an e-mail saying he would look for it at lunch in town...here is what I e-mailed him back.."Dave...here is what you do... if you find them..just walk in and say," Excuse
me..I'm David Fix, special Agent for the Mass sec. of STate...."...Flash your
card.. then say.." Please direct me to your magazine rack"... Come back to the
counter with all the fly tyer issues..and say.." I am sorry, but I have to
seize these for evidentiary purposes for a highly sensitive national security
matter pursuant to USC section 325 subsection 9".....if he asks you for when he
might be paid for them you just.. stare at him for say 10 seconds and say.."
Can I see some identification"... as you look at his Id... you say, still
staring at the ID.. "Why would a man want money for a matter that is so
sensitve to OUR security"... You then write down his name and say you or a
collegue WILL be back after you check him out.... Dave it's simple.... I would
do it for you!

John-
The past week or so, a customer has been coming in and showing me these flies he has been tying and was referring to them as "crabapple crabs."

Opened up Flytyer today when it showed up in the mail and low and behold there is the Crabapple Crab...with your name attached to it!!!
