Signs of Spring

I saw my first Robin today. Spring training starts soon. What are some of the other signs people are seeing or we are waiting for. Can't wait to see the Cherry Blossoms on the those trees. I believe it is the Cherry Blossoms we are looking for, but Juro can straighten me out on that one. Water temps 50 or above?

I'd be happy just to see air temps above the freeze point!

Signs of Spring

Cherry Blossoms in Washington DC is probably right.
But the surest sign so far is a retreating icepack in the rivers, I would guess 250 yards. All we need is a good heavy rain and a few warm days.
First holdover on the North Shore April 10.

For New England the Shad Bushes in bloom. Water is warming, stripers are moving and the trout start looking up.

Two signs for me:
Buckets hanging on the maple trees.
The aroma of fields fertilized with manure.
Get a day with both of those present and its time to go fishing.
