Nate -

Nice ties. Are you planning a trip back to striper country?

It is 10-12 inches long and if you catch anything with it it wil be more then 25in long. The spring before last I went up to plum Island and it was like normal a fisherman every 5 yards. ever so often some one would catch a 16-20in fish but it was pretty slow, I used a 10wt. with a 400gram sink tip and a fly like this and in an hour caught 3 fish over 25inches. All the others where using int. lines or light sinking with small baitfish and sand eel patterns and tring to out cast everone. The thing is that the fish are on the bottom and not many where getting down there. That is the key to fishing fast water I think. Also do any of us order the 8oz filet or the 24oz t-bone. Why do we think stripers are any different.
