Think it's cold?

Here is a pic aboard my father-in-law's scalloper the Noreen in 1960 on a calm winters day. I overlayed a pic of a three feather flatwing called the Abbie V. There is certainly a broad range of "fishing" experiences.

yellow, pink, then silver doctor blue grizzly, multi colored flash between hackles

Inner collar red CDC tufts

throat yellow bucktail

Thanks Doc, I have been doing some "hollower" wings lately to allow "inner" collars of a contrasting color and shorter than the outer collar or cheek.
